This will be located on Railway Avenue by the old tourism building once it arrives in town. Please note THIS IS NOT POTABLE WATER.

Potable water will be available in the morning after 900 am at the Sport Plex parking lot that can be used for cooking and hygienic purposes. We have a licensed water carrier coming to set up as a filling station.

Please remember that this will not be drinking water but the POTABLE WATER can be used for hygienic and cooking purposes.

We are working with our neighboring communities and the Poplar River Power Station to keep it as full as possible for your needs.

Right now we are flushing the reservoirs at the Water Plant, 2 reservoirs of 50,000 Imperial Gallons each have to be emptied out and the 90,000 Imperial Gallons in the Water Tower has to be emptied out. This is expected to be completed by between 10 pm and midnight.

The next step is making new water, which comes in at 126 Imp Gallons per minute, to fill these 3 places. These 3 storage places have to be filled with clean treated water twice before we can flush the distribution lines in town. Then the system has to be flushed twice and then we will have instructions for you to run water in your homes AFTER that.

We will keep you updated here and on the website at 9am and 4 pm daily and we will update Cat Country 98.1 and CJME radio stations as soon as we have progress updates that will change water use advisory rules.
