(Un)Civil Society Presentation by Ian McCormack

We are excited to welcome Ian McCormack to Coronach for an evening on (Un)Civil Society.

Ian is a governance expert, author and speaker who has worked with municipalities, non profits, school boards, libraries and many other organizations across Canada. His timely and thought provoking presentation looks at the growing incivility and abuse directed at elected officials, employees, board members, volunteers and, at times, members of the public.

This event isn’t just for municipal leaders. It’s for anyone who volunteers, serves on a board, works with the public or simply cares about the way we treat one another in our communities.

Join us for an insightful and relevant conversation about what is happening, why it’s getting worse and what we can do to create a more civil society.
